A B Graphic (ABG) is entering a 20-strong team in the annual York Rotary Dragon Boat Challenge, raising important funds for a local charity in the process.
Held on the River Ouse on 12 September, 2021, ABG’s ‘Average Boating Gang’, team will be raising funds for Bridlington CYP, a Bridlington-based charity that provide a wide range of sports, activities and opportunities for all within the local community, regardless of economic background.
The York Rotary Dragon Boat Challenge has been held every year since 2003 and has helped raise £1.2m for charities over that time. This year’s event will see 32 teams competing for the Challenge Trophy and other prestigious awards, such as the fastest charity team, fastest armed services team, and a ‘best dressed team’ trophy, which ABG won in 2019, having also reached the final.
