Driven by growing demand for its Pico range of equipment, Dantex Digital, the digital division of Dantex Group, has moved to a new 22,000sqft site in Corby, Northamptonshire.
The new facility offers general office space in two separate areas of a building that includes administration, engineering and software design capabilities. The ground floor has been dedicated predominately to manufacturing whilst the first floor includes a customer room with meeting and training facilities, as well as an R&D laboratory.
Ben Danon, Dantex Group CEO, commented, ‘By making this move, Dantex has invested in the future, and thanks to the interest in PicoJet equipment, this new manufacturing capacity will greatly improve our response time to customers’ demand for the presses. Despite the effects of Covid, we remain confident of our technology and this move confirms our desire to continue serving our industry.’
Dantex’s history in the label printing sector stretches back more than 50 years. It first delved into digital back in 2015 and has since gone on to develop its own range of digital presses, launched under the Pico brand. Since then, Dantex Digital has quickly become a recognised name in the UV Inkjet digital label press arena, with a dedicated specialist team of designers and mechanical and electrical engineers. This latest move, which has already been completed with production underway, suggests a strong future for the division.
While product development and manufacturing of Dantex’s digital range will be maintained at the Corby site, the company says that ‘there will always be synergy between Dantex’s headquarters in the North and Corby to enable the company to support customers from all areas with easy access to airports for overseas travel.’
