Monotech Systems has installed a Ricoh PRO C5300S digital production press at Kashmir-based design house Fumbh.
Fumbh’s packaging division is a unit of the design studio, and includes those who have years of expertise in packaging design, graphics, and marketing communications. The Ricoh printer is to be used for packaging applications, and will grow the company’s in-house capabilities, as Azmat Rafique, owner at Fumbh Packaging, explained.
‘We have been providing design services to our clients for the last six years, but we were always inquisitive to provide a wide variety of services and expand our portfolio. In the absence of in-house facilities, all the prints were outsourced, which was a complicated and time-consuming process. Timely delivery, proofreading, and quality control were the major concerns.
‘By installing the Richo Pro C53000S, we marked our footprint into digital printing and have a good in-house set-up that has helped us to address all the prevailing issues.’
He continued, ‘The Ricoh press is heavy-duty, robust and high-end production engine that is fast and delivers great quality. Our clients are very happy with the prints and complimented our work. It is the best machine for colour quality with a right-sized solution with media handling and good performance along with fast speed.’
