DTM Print has introduced a new, optional ink cartridge for Primera LX colour label printers, said to, ‘deliver the darkest, most consistent blacks ever.’
CMY+ Ultra Black is a single tri-colour ink cartridge designed for use with the LX600e, LX610e Pro and LX910e printers. LX series printers use cyan, magenta and yellow inks to produce process black, offering better water resistance, compatibility with a broader range of specialty label media, and more resistance to smearing, when compared to carbon black inks.
As an optional upgrade to the standard CMY ink cartridges, CMY+ Ultra Black offers: blacker blacks, as required by customers who need a ‘true’ black due to the design of their labels; sharper black text, printed at 1200dpi; and enhanced water resistance, with CMY+ Ultra Black the ‘most water-resistant ink ever offered by Primera’, when used with tested and approved substrates.
