ABG Inc., the North American subsidiary of digital finishing equipment manufacturer A B Graphic International (ABG), has relocated to new larger premises close to its previous site in Elgin, Illinois.
The move, which comes as a result of ongoing and significant demand for the company’s range of finishing equipment, provides over 26,000 sqft of capacity, and increased office space for administration and service staff, as well as a large display room to welcome customers.
ABG opened its US office 25 years ago this year. The operation has since grown steadily, with over 40 staff now being responsible for both the North American and Canadian finishing markets. The growth of the ABG portfolio over the last two decades means that it can offer a wider variety of products for the international finishing market, to include more digital options such as DigiLase and DigiJet. ABG’s acquisition of Spanish converting equipment manufacturer Enprom Solutions in 2019 has also seen the addition of smart shrink sleeve machines and non-stop winding technology.
ABG CEO Richard Knight said, ‘With this year being the 25th anniversary of our North American office, I’m delighted to see ABG Inc. going from strength to strength over the last two decades. The sustained growth and investment into this region shows that we recognise how important it is to provide a trusted ‘local’ service to the North American and Canadian market. The team at ABG Inc. has worked very hard to promote ABG’s values and expertise and we’re very proud of the results.’
ABG Inc. is to exhibit at Labelexpo Americas 2022, which is to run 13-15 September, 2022. Digital Labels & Packaging will focus on the Americas region in the July/August 2022 issue of the magazine, coinciding with events in the area such as Labelexpo Americas and Printing United. These will provide impetus for investment in North and South America in the autumn and beyond. Register here to receive the magazine.
