Pharma and packaging manufacturer Campolina Offset has invested in a Jetsci Global KolorSmart+ UV inkjet label production press.
The India-based company, which started with just two colour offset machines in 2010 and specialises in vinyl, waterproof, sheet, thermal, pharmaceutical and vial labels, plans to use the printer to offer a wide range of applications for short- to medium-run labels. It contains an additional pre-inkjet flexo station with standard UV curing to apply primers under white or spot colours. Being UV inkjet technology, it is cited as ‘low cost’ and flexible in terms of substrate usage.
