Italian converter Etigraph has signed on the dotted line to install a Gallus Labelfire hybrid press and add digital printing to its production mix.
In existence since 1983, the company specialises in the printing of self-adhesive labels in reels for the wine and spirits, food, and industrial sectors. Its renovated headquarters in Chions includes a 7500sqm production area that houses 17 printing lines.
Etigraph Italia’s Labelfire is the company’s 14th Gallus press, as well as being the first to be installed in the Friuli area of Northeast Italy, and ninth in Italy overall.
Andrea Citernesi, who is responsible for driving Gallus sales within Heidelberg Italia, commented, ‘Etigraph Italia has renewed its confidence in Gallus to enter the world of digital label printing, as usual without compromise.’
