Xeikon has formally opened its new headquarters in North America, located in the Chicago suburb of Elgin.
The new facility is located within Elgin’s Prologis business park. The site underwent a floor-to-ceiling renovation to Xeikon’s specifications, with 80% percent of the 39,000sqft of space at the facility dedicated to customer support functions. This includes an Innovation Center, which offers customers greatly expanded demonstration and training capabilities, both virtually and in-person.
Specifically, the Innovation Center features dry toner and UV inkjet printing options, whilst the company’s software systems are also demonstrated. Additionally, the Elgin location provides improved warehousing and office space.
Xeikon CEO Benoit Chatelard commented, ‘Customer needs continue to evolve and a company must be adaptive and agile to remain competitive. This new facility was designed and developed with that in mind.’
