South Africa’s First Impression Labels has joined All4Labels, the global packaging group.
This has seen Hirt and Carter Group, an integrated marketing firm headquartered in South Africa, sign an agreement for its subsidiary, First Impression Labels, to become a wholly owned subsidiary of All4Labels Group.
The group is a global packaging manufacturer with an expanding footprint. First Impression Labels supplies high value labelling products for multinational and domestic customers, and is headquartered in Durban, South Africa. The transaction is subject to customary closing conditions, including regulatory approval.
Adrian Tippenhauer, board member of All4Labels, commented, ‘By joining forces, our group will become a leading manufacturer of label solutions in the South African market. With its strong capabilities in the labels and sleeves segment, First Impression Labels perfectly complements our existing business in Cape Town, South Africa. With both our production locations, All4Labels will now be able to offer an enhanced range of first-class packaging solutions to a broad portfolio of international and regional brands, ensuring the alignment with the customers’ changing needs. Both production sites are strategically located in South Africa and our growing team of now 400+ individuals will provide the best and most trusted service. We are pleased to welcome the First Impression Labels team and all employees as new members of the All4Labels family.’
Adam Curtis, representative of the Hirt and Carter Group, stated, ‘First Impression Labels is proud to have found the right partner to continue the success story in South Africa with All4Labels. I am deeply convinced that the First Impression Labels team will continue to manage the business successfully in the future by doing whatever it takers to offer the best and most innovative solutions to its existing and future customer base. We believe that joining All4Labels will allow First Impression Labels to best serve its customers and staff by leveraging synergies and best practices in the field of sustainable and digital packaging solutions.’
Great news for South African industries however I am curious as to what the All4 Labels strategy will be to mitigate the ongoing energy crisis in South Africa.
