Boxable, a brand-new e-commerce website aimed at sole traders, SMEs and artisan businesses, was officially launched on 22 May 2023 by The Meliora Group.
The website has been developed over the last 10 months for individuals and businesses requiring short run, customised printed packaging for things like personalised or branded gifts.
On the Boxable site, customers can enter their measurement requirements and whether a product weighs over or under 350g into the system. It will then calculate which box types (if any) could be used for such parameters as well as their per unit cost.
As part of The Meliora Group along with sister companies Delga Press and Delga Labels, Boxable is based at the Rochester site in Kent.
According to Oliver Kleinman, head of marketing at The Meilora Group, Delga’s equipment – an HP Indigo 12000HD, Highcon Euclid III and recently installed Scodix Ultra 2000 – could be ideal for producing this type of product.
Mr Kleinman commented, ‘[The purchase of] Scodix was not necessarily related to Boxable, but the coincidental timing is very useful.’ He also expressed his plans to further develop and embellish the Boxable website over the coming months, with the idea of attracting more businesses and people in future.
