Pro Carton has named its newest board members, with Michele Bianchi remaining as president.
Pro Carton confirmed its new board at its 2023 AGM, where the merger with CEPI Cartonboard was confirmed. The merger is to be completed in mid-2024. The two associations – before the final merger – will be strategically guided by the same team of board members.
New Pro Carton board members are: Andreas Birmoser, Stora Enso; Andreas Bo, Holmen Iggesund; Nick Dowling, Westrock; Nick Fox, Metsa Board; Thomas Kratochwill, MM Board & Paper; Kemal Ozkirim, Kartonsan; and Jean-Francois Roche, Graphic Packaging International.
Mr Bianchi, RDM Group CEO, will continue in the position of president at Pro Carton. Mr Fox becomes vice president. Horst Bittermann will continue to lead the transformation and merger of the two associations in the role of general director. Winfried Mühling keeps responsibility as marketing and communications director.
