US-based remote digital proofing specialist ICScolor has appointed Colour Graphic Services as its sales and service support agent for Australia and New Zealand.
Colour Graphic Services is an Australian colour management, G7 Instructor, G7 Expert and ISO specialist. Incorporated in 2004, the company is an independent colour consulting service provider for the printing, graphic arts, and communications industry. It offers G7 Expert training, G7 Master Qualification, ISO implementation and certification, colour quality management in print consulting, digital colour management technical support and ICC profiling for all devices.
Going forward, Colour Graphic Services will offer all ICScolor products, focusing on the flagship product Remote Director, which complements other product and service offerings around G7, ISO, ICC and colour management. Remote Director affords users dynamic comparisons of profiles, spot colours and substrates. The technology allows for the creation of colour-accurate online proofs to share with anyone, anywhere. Users can be invited to projects using their email address that contains a link to launch their RD Client application and navigate directly to the proof. New users are asked to download the free client application and are assigned a role determined by the needs of the viewer, for content or colour. Hot folder automation is said to ‘streamline’ workflows and ICScolor’s SDK allows integration into third-party workflow tools.
