Converters All4Labels, Eshuis and Brook + Whittle have all invested in A B Graphic (ABG) non-stop winding technology to complement their investment in HP Indigo’s V12 press.
V12 is a 120m/min digital label press introduced in early 2020. It has since been installed as part of an extensive beta programme. Around the same time, ABG confirmed it was developing automation modules to deliver high-speed finishing in both near-line or inline configurations to complement the V12. ABG then introduced non-stop unwinding and non-stop rewinding.
ABG’s non-stop capabilities have since been extended to the high-speed V12. Integrated directly into the V12 production line to create a single platform, this option has the capacity to match the top speed of the press. A key feature is tension control, ‘ensuring reliability for various applications’.

With the addition of ABG’s non-stop winding technology, label printers will be able to maximise the potential of the V12 press.’
Both the HP Indigo V12 and ABG’s associated non-stop winding technology are to be demonstrated at Labelexpo Europe 2023.
