GMG Color has developed an HP-specific version of its ColorProof software, allowing off-press proofing that facilitates ‘robust and efficient’ digital printing.
GMG ColorProof is a software programme for producing colour-accurate contract proofs and mock-ups, including all software components, calibrations and colour profiles. The new GMG ColorProof for HP Indigo has been tailored in partnership with the digital press manufacturer to leverage the power of digital HP DesignJet proofing.
GMG Color stated that by taking proofs off-press to unlock press capacity, reduce costs and accelerate production, ‘the technology sets the stage for a more robust and efficient digital printing process.’
This will be presented at Labelexpo Europe 2023 on the HP Indigo stand, where several digital presses are shown operating with GMG ColorProof technology to simulate varied conditions and machines in label converting.
