Katun has recruited Zoltan Matyas to lead the growth of its digital printing division in Europe, the Middle East and Africa.
For more than 43 years, Katun has been providing OEM-compatible imaging supplies, photoreceptors and parts. Today, the company serves some 10,000 customers in 116 countries from its headquarters in Minneapolis, Minnesota in the US and dozens of worldwide locations. That includes from Tiel in the Netherlands, where Katun EAME is located and from where it is now distributing high-speed digital inkjet printers and finishing equipment from Arrow Systems in Europe.
To further grow its Digital Printing Solutions (KDPS) division, Katun EAME – as the company chooses to format the acronym in its official designation – has named Mr Matyas as sales director.
Mr Matyas comes to Katun EAME with over 20 years of experience in the global print industry, with a significant focus on the digital and industrial printing sectors. He is tasked with building KDPS in the EMEA region, working closely with internal and external teams to, ‘create the foundation of a successful new business division in Katun EAME,’ according to the company.
