Arrow Systems has extended its sales activities with the appointment of Rob Brown as executive account manager.
Mr Brown has over 35 years of experience in labels and packaging, in both analogue (flexo, gravure and offset) and digital. Specifically, his experience of working at both Colordyne and QuadTech means he has experience with inkjet technologies, both UV and water-based. This is noted as a particular benefit to Arrow Systems, which specialises in single-pass, water-based pigment inkjet technology and digital finishing and is reporting a rapid shift towards more eco-friendly, digital options.
‘We’re extremely excited to have Ron join the team,’ Shaan Patel, responsible for business development at Arrow Systems. ‘I knew Ron from his Colordyne days and he has always been extremely knowledgeable on the latest inkjet technologies and applications. We are excited along with the Arrow team to bring to market the range of latest water-based pigment inkjet solutions that we continue developing.’
Mr Brown said, ‘I’ve been following what Arrow has been doing with Memjet water-based pigment technology along with its knowledge of complementary chemistries and packaging solutions. Arrow Systems is really pushing the boundaries of what we have seen in the past with these types of solutions, and I am looking forward to working with the team.’
