Durst has confirmed a number of deals have been signed for its RSC inkjet digital label printing technology during the recent Labelexpo Asia 2023 exhibition in Shanghai.
This has included Shandong Golden Realm Industrial investing in a Durst Tau 330 RSCi and Thikz Anti-counterfeit Technology (Su Zhou) signing on for a Tau 330 RSC E model. In total, three RSC presses will soon be installed in China.
Durst’s Tau RSC platform is capable of printing at a 1200 x 1200dpi resolution at a maximum printing speed of 100m/min. 95% of the Pantone colour space can be hit. Features such as high opacity, light fastness and heat resistance, and low migration inks further expand the platform’s application range. A 510mm-wide model, and in-mould and shrink sleeves options create additional business opportunities for converters. New are the Hawk Eye on-press inspection and correction technology and a UV LED inkset.
