Visutech, a supplier of digital production tools in the Nordic market, has appointed Johan Lidström as its new managing director.
Founded in 1988, Visutech operates in Sweden, Norway, Denmark and Finland, with its headquarters located in Gothenburg. Over the last three and a half decades, the company has been led by founder and CEO Jan-Olof Jungersten. Mr Jungersten, who has been instrumental in the company’s development and growth, has now stepped back from day-to-day operations, although will continue to contribute to the company as the main owner and chairman of the board.
Mr Lidström has worked at Visutech for over a decade himself, having previously worked as sales manager and most recently as COO. His promotion to managing director is said to, ‘mark a new era for the company while building on a solid foundation of experience and success.’
Mr Jungersten commented, ‘After 35 fantastic years as CEO of Visutech, I am delighted to hand over the reins to Johan Lidström. His dedication and competence are significant assets to the company, and I am confident that, together with the management team and our fantastic, passionate staff, he will lead the company successfully into the future. I look forward to continuing to support Visutech in a more strategic group role and contribute to its ongoing success.’
Mr Lidström said, ‘I am firmly convinced that the core of an outstanding organisation lies in a cohesive team and strong partnerships. Our future will be shaped by close collaboration with our customers and partners, where we strive to fully understand their needs. By delivering tailored solutions, we will not only meet their expectations but exceed them, establishing long-term and mutually rewarding relationships.’
