Koenig & Bauer Durst has named Tom Sander as product manager for VariJET 106.
VariJET 106 is a sheet-fed press targeted at the folding carton market, combing Koenig & Bauer’s expertise in rotary offset with Durst’s inkjet expertise.
Mr Sander has been working at the joint venture business for more than three years, initially in an educational capacity as a Bachelor and then Masters student, and more recently as R&D programme manager. As of October 2023, he has been serving as product manager for VariJET 106.
Mr Sander said, ‘With ever shorter run lengths and brand sustainability targets, our inkjet technology is advancing so fast that I am really pleased to be taking over as product manager.
‘This is especially exciting heading into a drupa year where we will be able to show how we are supporting digital transformation going forward.’
