EFI has appointed Scott DeSoto as business development manager responsible for its Nozomi platform of sheet-fed inkjet presses.
Based out of Illinois in the US, Mr DeSoto has joined EFI from Memjet, where he was vice president of global sales for the previous three years. Prior to that, he spent more than 25 years as national sales manager, digital packaging at Fujifilm Graphic Systems. At EFI, he will have a focus on the packaging market, one of the areas where EFI has seen strong uptake for its Nozomi family of machines.
Writing on LinkedIn, Mr DeSoto said, ‘I am thrilled to be part of a team and a culture that’s absolutely committed to customers and the industry. Technology, engineering, application development coupled with passion makes [sic] a market leader.
‘Stay tuned for an exciting 2024 and beyond at EFI.’
