Konica Minolta and MGI are to focus on digital labels, packaging and embellishment when they participate at drupa 2024.
The companies are set to have one of the largest stands at drupa 2024, spanning six inter-linked areas and over two floors in hall 8b at Dusseldorf Messe. Using this space, their intent is to share a ‘vision for the transformation of the print room’, alongside multiple hardware and software premieres. Efficiency gains to be made from digital print automation and end-to-end production workflows, as well as software, are to be central to this.
Jon Hiscock, head of production and industrial print at Konica Minolta Business Solutions (UK), explained, ‘We are committed to helping our customers to ignite new print possibilities. With once of the biggest stands at drupa, it is also an opportunity for Konica Minolta to underline its total commitment to mid/high volume digital production printing, whilst strengthening our presence within the industrial printing sector.
‘I am looking forward to sharing our vision for the digital transformation of the print room, our route to Industry 5.0 automation and the smart factory and the products, solutions, services and support we are bringing to market to help print businesses that want take this journey with us.’
drupa 2024 takes place 28 May to 7 June in Dusseldorf, Germany
