Building on a relationship initially formed in 2016, Global Graphics Software has extended its business partnership a further five years with an unnamed Japanese manufacturer of digital inkjet printers.
After the Japanese OEM integrated Global Graphics Software’s Harlequin Core SDK into its RIP software, the companies have collaborated to create a PDF editor designed for rapid handling of complex PDF files.
Harlequin Core is claimed as the fastest RIP engine available on the market, which has evolved significantly with enhancements of a colour management software from Global Graphics’ sister company ColorLogic, offering high colour quality, as well as support for PDF 2.0 and CxF/X-4 (colour exchange format).
The technology is explained to be a key choice for many digital press solutions due to its ability to deliver fast and accurate pages, with output times far more than the rated speed of the industry’s leading print devices.
Justin Bailey, managing director at Global Graphics Software, commented, ‘The extension of this partnership demonstrates the success we have achieved, and the confidence and commitment the company has placed in our engineers and in harlequin core.
‘We’re excited to continue this partnership and look forward to further collaboration in the future.’
Global Graphics will be exhibiting at the forthcoming page2024 exhibition in Tokyo, 14-16 February 2024, where the company will demonstrate its SmartDFE for high-speed, single-pass inkjet presses, powered by Harlequin Core.
