The board of Korozo Group has appointed Adam Barnett, former president of the £1.2 billion food packaging division of Klöckner Pentaplast (kp), as Group CEO. Mr Barnett replaces Filip Lens who led the Group over the past four years.
Based in the UK, Mr Barnett began his career in the furniture industry moving to Linpac Group in 1998, where he progressed from key account manager to managing director of Northern Europe, over 19 years. When Linpac was acquired by kp in 2017, Mr Barnett was appointed president of the specialities division and then food packaging.
Having extensive experience in running international private equity businesses across the rigid and flexible packaging industry, said Korozo. Mr Barnett is passionate about delivering innovation, sustainability and operational efficiency to ensure go-to-market success for brands, packers and retailers worldwide.
