Konica Minolta has launched the new AccurioPress C84hc series featuring high chroma toner, which enables creative commercial printers to reproduce bright vivid colours even more consistently.
Offering production of up to 81ppm, the AccurioPress C84hc provides wider application possibilities such as studio photos, photo books, nature photos and web-to-print orders for commercial printers, dedicated design houses, advertising agencies, corporates and brands, explained the company.
The AccurioPress C84hc series, enables the reproduction of brighter, clearer colours. The high chroma gamut delivers natural skin tones while the saturation of greens, blues, purples, pinks, and magentas, creates more natural results that were not previously possible, said Konica Minolta. This, it said, makes the series especially well suited to the reproduction of specific colours, making it the perfect choice for global brands with exacting colour requirements.
The colour gamut of the AccurioPress C84hc’s high chroma capability is maximised by using RGB images, allowing customers to experience colours reproduced with their original clarity and brightness, which gives it a unique quality that cannot be replicated by other devices.
Malcolm Smith, category manager of professional print at Konica Minolta UK, commented, ‘The AccurioPress C84hc series sets a new benchmark for colour reproduction and when used in conjunction with the AccurioShine 3600 embellishment press offers the opportunity to create truly spectacular results. This provides print businesses with a huge point of differentiation from their competitors, helping them develop new revenue streams to reach new customers as well as develop further business with existing customers.’
As the fifth generation of the high chroma device, it builds on the colour reproducibility technology of the AccurioPress C83hc and the work efficiency of the current AccurioPress C4080 series. In particular, the AccurioPress C84hc incorporates the latest finishing technologies, such as Konica Minolta’s TU-510 inline finisher, which produces fully cut full bleed output, from saddle stitched brochures to single flyers and business cards.
Performance on the AccurioPress C84hc can also be elevated with Konica Minolta’s Auto Inspection Technology (AIT). Designed as a fully automated closed-loop inspection technology, AIT automatically inspects every individual printed sheet and makes sure that only those meeting exacting requirements are delivered. It detects any problems including dirt, sub-standard imagery, or incorrect page orders.
