Inkcups, supplier and manufacturer of digital inkjet equipment, has appointed Matt Medford as the company’s new vice president of engineering, overseeing the engineering department, ensuring that the company continues to drive innovation in industrial printing.

He takes over from Mark Barrett, who retires in June.

Mr Medford brings experience in electromechanical design, development, and analysis to this role. He has worked in engineering roles for almost three decades, having begun his career at Siemens and GE. In his most recent position, at automation machinery manufacturer, Symbotic, he worked with both operations and installations teams to improve operational efficiency, product durability, and maintenance simplicity for components in an automated warehouse system.

Rick Hajec, Inkcups CEO, commented, ‘Matt will be a vital member of our executive team, ensuring that Inkcups continues to innovate with market leading solutions that help our customers expand their capabilities. He will also bring his extensive experience in leading product teams to ensure machine quality and robustness through rigorous testing and continuous technical enhancement.’
