Finishing equipment manufacturer, A B Graphic International (ABG), has installed finishing solutions at Nordvalls, Scandinavian label supplier, with further solutions now agreed. The move has enabled Nordvalls to meet the increasing demands of digital printing with efficiency and speed.
Looking to enhance its production line, the company has invested in ABG’s Non-Stop Unwinder and Rewinder systems, featuring guarding and ‘unparalleled’ tension control, integrating them with its HP Indigo V12 digital press installed in 2023. The setup complements the press’s capabilities and helps increase overall productivity by maintaining continuous operation.
Nordvalls also invested in ABG’s Digicon Series 3 with Turret Rewinder. This finishing solution transforms printed rolls into finished products with a speed of up to 180 meters per minute (semi-rotary) because of ABG’s patented fast-track die.
The Scandinavian label supplier has recently invested in a second HP Indigo V12 digital press, in turn, this led to a purchase of another Non-Stop Unwinder and Rewinder from ABG, as well as another Digicon Series 3, allowing Nordvalls to take its production capacity to the next level.
