Prati, provider of finishing solutions, will showcase its Digi Compact – converting and finishing line for self-adhesive labels and digitally printed flexible packaging – with JetFx digital embellishment unit, in Hall C, Booth 3529 at Labelexpo Americas 2024.
The machine can combine analogue and digital technology on a range of materials from 12 to 350 microns. It will be exhibited with a cutting unit and a rewinder and will be able to perform the converting of self-adhesive material from roll to roll for the rewinding of large rolls and subsequent finishing passage on the control table (Q/C machine), as well as roll-to-roll finishing in a single pass. Furthermore, the rewinding shafts, from 25.4 to 152 mm in diameter, will be interchangeable. This configuration also includes a cutting module for the division of tracks and/or the removal of side trims, explained the company.
Described as ergonomic and compact, the machine is also characterised by a reduced paper passage and, with a view to environmental sustainability, ensures a reduction of waste during the set-up phase. Simple to use by the operator, it has functions managed directly autonomously by the machine. As for flexibility, Digi Compact is also a multitasking machine as it allows many types of processing (roll to roll, roll to sheet and roll to stack) all-in-one.
