Enplater, pioneer in digital printing in the food industry in Southern Europe, has become the first customer in EMEA to install two HP Indigo 200K digital presses during the last 12 months. This milestone follows on from Enplater becoming the first customer to install HP 20000 in the South of Europe back in 2015.
The company installed their first HP Indigo 200K back in April 2023 as part of the beta period, and now have successfully completed the installation of a second press in April this year. This installation enables Enplater to provide the best quality printing for the food and beverages market.
The HP Indigo 200K enables Enplater to deliver non-minimum quantities in a very short time across a breadth of products, including lids, coffee pouches, wrap around labels and sleeves. The HP Indigo solution helps to reduce the company’s overall carbon footprint by reducing waste in setups and the HP Electroink has less solvent emission.
’HP Indigo’s exceptional high-quality impressions allows us to be more flexible and deliver on demand to our customers regardless of the quantity demand,’ said Marti Alaball, project management director, at Enplater. ‘At Enplater, we’re committed to investing in the latest technology, it is part of our culture, and the latest installation of the HP Indigo 200K is testament to this, ensuring we’re continuously driving efficiencies and making our production more streamlined.’
‘Enplater is passionate about working directly with its customers to help them grow and become the best in class, which is why we could not be more thrilled to collaborate with them on this latest development in their journey,’ said HP Industrial Iberia and Italy general manager. ‘They have demonstrated a clear commitment to investing in the technology they need now to build the business they want in the future.’
