Chicago-based personalised packaging provider DigiWrap has invested in a new HP Indigo 25K press, which it says will enable it to ‘better deliver a fully customisable, time efficient and streamlined experience’ to its customers.

The company offers tissue paper, gift bags and labels that can be personalised with corporate branding, product shots or full colour photos. Customers can use a variety of templates through an online design tool or can upload a pre-made design.

DigiWrap said the new press will enable it to ‘supercharge’ its services by creating new sizes, efficiencies and an overall more connected process. It has also benefited sustainability efforts, saying it uses fewer imaging oils with consumables that last longer than anticipated.

‘We’ve been an HP customer for quite some time and although we’ve tried out other pieces of equipment from other providers, we’ve always felt that HP’s products are the most reliable and deliver the best quality,’ said Charlie Williams, co-founder at DigiWrap. ‘Not only have we seen our lead times cut in half with the addition of this investment, but we’ve seen the development of brand-new products at an unprecedented rate.’
