Packaging prepress solution provider Esko has highlighted the key issues to come for the packaging industry next year in its new ebook ‘Packaging Trends 2025’, identifying these as sustainability, cybersecurity and integration of AI.

The annual report from the company – which will form the basis of the latest ‘Packaging Trends Talk’ to take place in early 2025 – has insights gathered from nearly 500 experts from around the world and across the industry, detailing thoughts and opinions on expected packaging trends, challenges, and opportunities for reflection.

Matthew Haws, chief marketing officer of Esko, said the research gathered suggests the most successful packaging companies are those prepared to thrive within the modern packaging market; a market shaped by new technology, shifting consumer preferences, and a growing focus on sustainability.
