Connecticut-based label printer Elm Press has chosen the Mark Andy Digital Series iQ to enhance and grow the company’s label production capabilities – driven by the company’s need for a more robust and efficient solution to handle increasing volume and substrate requirements, said Vic Losure, president of Elm Press.
The recently installed Mark Andy Digital Series iQ has further strengthened Elm Press’s production capabilities, the company said, with its versatility and efficiency expected to play a crucial role in supporting Elm Press’s long-term goal of expanding its label division. ‘The Digital Series iQ will allow us to be more competitive with our prime business and handle the growing volume effectively,’ Mr Losure added. ‘It’s an important step in building out our label division and supporting our clients with high-quality, flexible printing solutions.’
One key factor that influenced Elm Press’s decision was the synergy between its existing 13-inch Mark Andy tooling equipment and the new Digital Series iQ, making it a cost-effective choice, explained Mr Losure. He continued saying that Elm Press has always had a great experience with Mark Andy, and this new addition is a smart fit for the company’s current equipment profile and future growth.
Already upholding a presence in the commercial printing space, with its in-house bindery and Heidelberg presses, Elm Press’ investment will help serve its existing clients better and support new business areas, expanding further in the label sector, concluded Mr Losure.
