E Labels, a family-owned label printing business in Pico Rivera, California, has diversified into new markets following the installation of a second Domino N610i digital press.
Operations and development manager of E Labels Jacky Rivera – daughter of the founder Carlos Rivera – outlined that the press has given the company more capabilities, such as the ability to use clear or silver materials due to the opaqueness of Domino’s white ink, and the ability to print small text and variable data. This has been described by Ms Rivera as a ‘game changer’.
Domino’s service, on top of its technology, has been outlined by Ms Rivera as a key reason behind the partnership. This service was quickly noticed through Domino’s training, installation, and service, she added.
The Domino press has given a boost to E Labels’ operations, enabling quick turnarounds, exceptional print quality, and cost savings, according to Domino. Ms Rivera said the Domino presses has allowed E Labels to provide labels quickly to customers, at great pricing, without compensating on quality – offering reliable service. The investment in Domino technology, has helped the company grow as a small business in the industry, positioning it well to meet diverse customer needs more efficiently, she stated.
Looking ahead, Ms Rivera said the company aims to expand its market reach and continue to cater to customer needs, describing the investment in a second press as the next chapter of E Labels’ growth.
