Domino has unveiled a new high-speed productivity mode for its N730i digital label press, developed in response to market demand for faster, more efficient label printing. This new mode is available globally for new presses and as an upgrade for existing N730i customers.

The N730i with the high-speed productivity mode will be showcased at Labelexpo Southeast Asia in Bangkok, Thailand, from May 8-10, 2025, with live demonstrations at Domino’s stand G36.

Michael Matthews, global product manager at Domino, said, “Our customers asked for higher printing speeds to maximise their output, and the new mode enhances both speed and efficiency. The result is up to a 28% increase in productivity.”

With a maximum print speed of 90m/min, up from the previous 70m/min, the N730i offers impressive efficiency gains – allowing converters to produce high-quality labels at higher speeds, offering a quicker return on investment, explained the company. According to Domino, these gains include a 22% reduction in production time, up to 8% annual ink savings, and potential savings of over £5000 in ink costs per year.

Domino’s commitment to innovation will be demonstrated at the event, where visitors can learn how the N730i and its new features can help businesses stay ahead in the fast-paced label printing industry, concluded the company.
