Dantex Group has relaunched its PicoColour press, an entry-level digital printing solution with a compact footprint. The new upgrades on the press offer enhanced features and technology while retaining the compact design of its predecessor.

The modernised version of the PicoColour has a print speed of 50m/min – ideal for businesses seeking efficiency and scalability in a small-footprint design, said Dantex.

According to the company, one of the standout features of the revamped PicoColour is its expanded colour gamut, superwhite, supertext, and supertact capabilities, all derived from the flagship PicoJet. The press also offers optional inline compact finishing, including shuttle-based die-cutting, lamination, matrix removal, and edge trimming.

Manufactured entirely in the UK, the PicoColour promises exceptional build quality and reliability, stated Dantex. With more than 80% of its supply chain sourced domestically, Dantex ensures that the press meets high engineering and quality control standards. The relaunch also incorporates customer feedback, allowing for a maximum print width of 254mm and an integrated finishing system to reduce material waste and improve overall efficiency.

Pre-sales for the PicoColour have begun, with deliveries scheduled for Q4 2025. Customers can preview the press on Dantex’s booth at Labelexpo Barcelona this September.

Ben Danon, CEO of Dantex Group, commented: “We’ve modernised the PicoColour with the latest technology while keeping its core strengths intact. The response has been incredible, proving that customers are eager for a high-performance, entry-level UV inkjet press.”
